Confirm your return transfer to Lanzarote Airport
Your departure flight time and your accommodation pickup time are two different appointments. Keep the airline’s instructions and the transport operator’s confirmation together before you travel. A driving-time estimate does not book a pickup or tell you when to leave your hotel.
Start with the flight instructions
Check the departure date, flight number and local departure time against your airline booking. Record the airline’s required airport arrival time, any bag-drop deadline and the boarding instructions that apply to your flight. Ask the airline if an instruction is unclear rather than replacing it with a generic airport rule.
Aena’s departure information also directs passengers to confirm their terminal and relevant check-in and boarding times with the airline. Use the information for your actual flight, not a terminal assumption from your arrival journey.
If you have booked airport assistance, keep the agreed meeting point and meeting time in the same record. The airport appointment and the road transfer need to work together; they are not the same service.
Give the operator an exact pickup
Send your departure flight details, accommodation name and full address. Specify the entrance or meeting point you will use. A hotel name alone may not identify the right door; an apartment complex or villa can have more than one access point.
Include everyone travelling and the complete return luggage list. Do not assume an arrival arrangement still covers a changed passenger count, a new suitcase or different equipment. Use the existing group transfer guide if several people are travelling together.
Ask the operator to confirm the pickup date, time and meeting location for the flight instructions you supplied. Keep that reply with the airline details. Only the confirmed arrangement belongs in the pickup field.
Keep a return-journey record
Download the blank return planning worksheet. It has one row for each detail and separate columns for your note, who confirmed it and the confirmation date.
On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to see every column. You can also copy or print it.
| Detail | What to record |
|---|---|
| Flight | Departure date, flight number and local departure time |
| Airport instructions | Terminal, airline arrival instruction and any bag-drop or boarding deadline |
| Airport assistance | Agreed meeting place and time, if applicable |
| Accommodation pickup | Full address, exact meeting entrance and explicitly confirmed date/time |
| Vehicle requirements | Accepted passengers, luggage and equipment for this journey |
| Departure-day contact | The operator’s confirmed contact and what to do if collection is disrupted |
| Confirmation | The written reference and when you last checked it |
Leave unknown details blank or write “not confirmed”. The worksheet does not calculate a departure time, predict traffic, place a booking or send your notes to Speedybus. Keep a copy on your own device if you want to use it again.
Check the dates as well as the hours
Write the calendar date beside each important time, especially for an early-hours flight. The date of the flight and the date of a pickup around midnight may differ. Ask the operator to confirm both rather than leaving an isolated time in a message.
Keep local Lanzarote times clearly labelled. If someone is organising the journey from another country, do not mix that person’s local clock with the time on the airline or pickup confirmation.
For example, a hypothetical traveller might have the correct flight number but an unconfirmed hotel pickup. The record should still show the pickup as unresolved. A completed flight row does not make the transfer booked.
Reconfirm changes and missing details
If your flight, accommodation, passenger count or luggage changes, send the changed details to the operator and obtain an updated confirmation. Keep the old and new replies distinguishable. This guide does not establish free changes, included waiting time or a cancellation policy.
Before the return day, check that the latest confirmation agrees with your record. If you cannot find a confirmed pickup or contact procedure, resolve that gap with the operator rather than estimating a new collection time yourself.
For approximate route distances, use the transfer planner. Its estimates help describe the journey but are not pickup instructions or guaranteed airport arrival times.
Ask Speedybus about your return journey
Send your actual departure flight, date, accommodation address, passengers and luggage. Ask Speedybus to confirm availability, price, pickup date/time and meeting point before treating the return as booked.
For airport assistance, use Aena’s official Barrier Free service information and your airline’s instructions separately.
Confirm your actual journey
Describe your route, date, passengers, luggage and unresolved requirements. Ask whether the arrangement is possible and confirm availability, price and meeting details before booking.
