Measure the packed item before requesting transfer space

“One bike bag” or “a large case” does not describe a complete load. Record the outside dimensions of the item as it will travel, then send those details with the people and all other luggage. The operator still needs to confirm whether the arrangement is suitable.

Use this record when the large-luggage guide asks for dimensions. It does not calculate vehicle fit, replace airline rules or confirm that an item is accepted.

Measure the travel shape, not the unpacked equipment

Pack or fold the item only as permitted by its maker's instructions. Do not force it into a smaller shape to obtain a favourable number. If the final travel shape is not ready, label the dimensions provisional.

Record three separate external measurements: length, width and height. Include the outer case and any parts that remain outside it, such as fixed wheels or handles. Use the same unit for all three and name that unit. A single summed dimension is not a substitute for the three measurements needed to describe the shape.

Record weight if you know it; otherwise write “unknown”. Do not guess an exact weight or attempt a measurement you cannot carry out safely. If a case's published size and your packed measurement differ, explain which number you supplied and what remains uncertain.

Give each item a simple identifier

Copy the table into your own notes. Add rows for different shapes instead of treating several unlike items as one average-size bag. The record is manual and does not send or store information.

On a small screen, scroll the table sideways to see every column. You can also copy or print it.

Item ID / descriptionCountPacked length × width × height / unitWeight / unit, if knownPacking state and uncertainty
A — describe the actual case____________ × ______ × ______ / ____________Final / provisional; anything protruding
B — describe a different item____________ × ______ × ______ / ____________Folds / does not fold; limits to explain
C — ordinary suitcases and cabin bags______Describe separately if sizes differ______Counted with the complete load

Illustrative notation: “A: one packed case, 110 × 75 × 30 cm, weight unknown, dimensions provisional until packed.” These are example numbers, not an accepted size or a vehicle capacity limit.

For two identical cases, say there are two. For a bag that changes shape, explain the packed state rather than presenting one precise measurement as certain. Mention if an item must not be stacked or cannot fold; the operator must assess that constraint, not infer it from a photograph.

Send the whole load in the same request

Add the travel date, route, passenger count including children, ordinary suitcases, cabin bags and every unusual item. A space check for item A alone does not establish that A, B, the remaining bags and all passengers fit together.

Use the existing bicycle and golf pages for their service-specific enquiry details. This sheet adds a measurable record, not a different allowance or promise about equipment handling.

If the item is a mobility aid, keep its cargo dimensions separate from the person's travel and boarding needs. The accessibility request guide explains that distinction. A folded size does not confirm an accessible vehicle or assistance arrangement.

Keep airline acceptance and road acceptance separate

Check your own airline's current packing, size, weight and restricted-item rules. For example, flydubai publishes its own sporting-equipment requirements; another airline or fare may differ. Airline acceptance does not determine what fits in a road vehicle, and a transfer quote does not approve an item for flight.

Ask Speedybus to confirm the complete load and any conditions, availability and price before booking. If the case, number of items, packing shape or passengers changes, send the updated record for another check. Do not treat a previously accepted approximate description as acceptance of a substantially different load.
